Installation Technician

An enthusiastic and hard working individual with excellent mechanical and practical skills to coordinate and carry out the installation of fitness equipment and acoustic flooring.

They should be able to work well under pressure and have the capabilities to carry out projects from initiation to completing in the following areas:
**Responsibilities**:

- Installation of fitness equipment
- Servicing, repair and assembly of fitness equipment
- Installation and fitting of specialised gym flooring
- Coordinating the installation of fitness equipment
- Supervising an installation team on site
- Tidying installation sites promptly
- Installations may require travel and layovers throughout the UK and abroad
- Packaging of flooring and fitness equipment
- Work to tight deadlines and to complete projects on time
- Assisting with sanding and spraying
- Maintaining stock take of fittings and tools
- Ensuring appropriate Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager
- Continuously develop and promote the business brand
- Assisting in the production of flooring products and assemblies

Essentials:

- Full clean UK driving license
- Valid UK Passport
- Flooring, mechanical & electrical principals
- Able to work with power tools and hand tools
- Able to work with adhesives, solvents and other hazardous products
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Proven understanding of mechanical engineering and mechanical assemblies
- Excellent practical skills and 'handyman' skills
- Good organisational and communication skills;
- Hard working and able to work to a deadline in a fast paced environment
- Able to meet physical demands
- Good ability to problem solve under pressure
- Quality focused with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised
- Customer service orientated
- A positive team player and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
