There is an exciting opportunity in a forward-thinking Primary school based in Slough for a Year 4 Teacher. The role starts in September 2023, is full-time and the Year 4 teacher appointed will be employed on a permanent basis. The school is two-form entryand offers ample opportunity for professional development. This vacancy is open to an ECT and an experienced teacher. TLR is potentially on offer too for a Year 4 Teacher looking for a step up.

Expectations of the Year 4 Teacher

This Primary school in Slough is searching for a talented and passionate Year 4 teacher who can support their forward-thinking teaching style across the school. The school is commended for achieving academic excellence and the teacher appointed will usetheir expertise to reach and hopefully exceed the exam results previously achieved. The Year 4 Teacher will be expected to ensure that all children are engaged and enthusiastic about their learning. You will be expected to inspire the children alongside managingtheir behaviour in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities of the Year 4 Teacher

As a Year 4 Teacher you will be teaching a vibrant, energetic group of children amounting to a 29 class total. Your responsibilities in this Primary teacher role will include keeping your lessons current and relevant, preparing the students for their importantfinal year in Primary school. The teacher will be required to commit to the school and their class with effective planning and preparation for lessons and activities.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher to develop professionally and to extend their experience in education so far. The Primary school offers great support and training to each and every teacher.
