Boscombe, United Kingdom Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised person(s) to join the fast paced Medical Secretary Team within Dorset Musculoskeletal Services.

This is a full time 37.5 hours per week vacancy, but job share would considered for the right applicants.

The Service is spread across Dorset and with the ability to use virtual communication software, team members can keep in touch on a daily basis.

In order to deliver a modernised service that has patient care and communication at its heart, we need people with excellent IT skills and a desire to improve the patient experience.

You will work under the direction of the Administration Supervisor with excellent attention to detail.

The team is spread across the county so you will need to contribute to team working at the same time as using your own initiative. You will manage patient records through different electronic patient management systems and will deal with patient queries on a daily basis. This will require excellent customer care skills.

Experience in a healthcare setting and using patient record systems would be preferred.

There may be occasional need for travel between sites.

The successful applicant will have the choice to work at either Shelley Road in Boscombe or Weymouth Community Hospital.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Interviews are planned to take place via MS Teams
