**Job description**

**The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Ltd is looking for a Freight Checker**

**Job Summary**

**1030-1430 and 2230 - 0230 split shifts 4 days on 4 days off**

**Essential Duties**:
**Loading passenger and freight ships**
- **Loading freight and passenger vehicles on to the ship**:

- **Good, clear communication with ship and shore**:

- **Ability to work under pressure in a Port environment over busy periods**:

- **Driving to locate trailers on site**:

- **Working to a deadline on each sailing**:

- **Driving the passenger and work minibuses on and off the ship**:

- **Other duties assigned by management**:

- **Leave coverage**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.79 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
