Reception Supervisor

**Part time**:

- 25 - 30 hrs p/w, 3 days a week. Working pattern to be confirmed but it must include Fridays

**£13.50 p/h** depending on experience

We are looking for a Reception Supervisor to work alongside our Reception Manager and enhance our Reception team at Holt Medical Practice.

**The Surgery**: We are a large practice with 14,500 patients and 7 GP Partners. We have a strong experienced nursing team consisting of a Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Paramedics and Physician Associates. We use EMIS as our clinical system. Our main site at Holt is a modern, airy, purpose-built Surgery with a hybrid Pharmacy on site. We have two branch sites in the nearby villages of Melton Constable and Blakeney. Although busy, we are a relaxed, welcoming and harmonious Practice.

**Role**
- Overseeing the administration and support operations of the reception team, ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities
- Supporting staff development, providing guidance and direction, ensuring staff are up to date with mandatory training
- Completing staff appraisals as required
- Identifying and delivering team training where required
- Reviewing and updating all reception policies and procedures as required
- Updating the appointment system to reflect any on the day changes and absences
- Communicating with Practice management any concerns or feedback to improve the patient experience
- Providing initial guidance and advice to patients who wish to verbally complain
- Attend internal meetings and feedback changes or updates to the team
