Are you a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in Scunthorpe? Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a reputable Special Educational Needs School to find a passionate individual to join their team.

**Role Overview**: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the learning support team, working closely with students who have special educational needs. Your role will involve providing one-on-one and group support, collaborating with the teaching staff, and contributing to the creation of an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to implement individualised education plans (EHCP's).
- Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs or in a care setting is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learning needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant qualification in education or care is desirable but not essential.

**Working Hours**:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday.

**Contract Type**:

- Long-term placement.

**Salary**:

- Competitive, £83 - £93 per day.
