**Job Purpose**
The Estates team as a whole is responsible for maintaining the Estate to a high standard. As an Estate Worker you will be working part of a team to help maintain and improve the estate grounds as well as liaising with other departments to help set up for exams and events around site. The role will offer opportunities for in-house training for the use of specialised vehicles including cherry pickers etc.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Fuelling and valeting the fleet of school buses
- Preparing areas of the school for events
- Maintaining fishponds and fish tanks
- Delivering vehicles for repairs
- General gardening including grass cutting, hedge trimming and planting.
- Off-site driving
- Gritting the grounds of the site in cold weather conditions
- Collect general waste on a rota basis.
- Assisting the build team on various projects
- Work as part of a team and independently as required.
