Garden / Agricultural Fitter

Workshop based role.

**Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently assess ride on mowers & rotary mowers - **ESSENTIAL**:

- Carry out servicing on ride on mowers & rotary mowers.
- Time management is **ESSENTIAL**
- Must be able to understand all parts required and provide relevant information for ordering.
- Must work in a calm and meticulous manner. This business has been built on reputation and repeat business.
- Ensure accurate information is added to the job cards so customers are contacted appropriately.
- Load and unload machinery & equipment from the van/truck - (ramps provided)
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work station
- Complete a prewash for each collection before bringing into the workshop ready for inspection. All machines are washed and cleaned before being returned to the customer.

**Requirements**:

- Provide your own tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - your own transport is essential.
- Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role is essential
- Ability to service and repair smaller forestry equipment an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with repair work.
- Excellent time management skills to meet work schedules

This is a new position in a growing company.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
