**Purpose of the Role**

The Compliance Admin assistant will work alongside our procurement and production teams to develop the best products for our market. You will be involved in ensuring that all products comply to safety standards and legislation.

**Main responsibilities**
- Coordinating administrative tasks related to safety testing.
- Supporting the Compliance and Sustainability Manager with customer-specific testing (i.e. documentation, communication with lab and internal teams)
- Checking test reports and preparing declarations of conformity for relevant titles, and as requested by customers
- Ownership of a portion of titles on the publishing plan, conducting labelling and test requirements reviews ahead of production (with the support of the Compliance and Sustainability Manager)
- Assisting with completing safety assessments
- Liaising with external consultants alongside the Compliance and Sustainability Manager and supporting with safety reviews, ensuring feedback is given to relevant team members
- Responding to queries internally (sales, production, publishing) and externally from customers as well as requests for documentation (e.g. safety data sheets, test reports).
- Supporting the Sales and Procurement team with visibility of test cost ahead of raising Purchase Orders for finished products
- Liaising with factories in East Asia for audit compliance, and requests for documentation
- Responsible for data input into Dynamics (operating system) - test reports and safety warnings
- Monitoring Compliance inbox to ensure adequate filing of test reports, BOM (Bill of materials) and declarations of conformity from suppliers
- Co-ordinating and chasing testing samples from suppliers to the test labs
- Checking Co-edition customers pre-contracts to identify specific testing requirements
- Supporting Production team with finding relevant test reports
- Managing the test report validity and highlighting required testing on reprints
- Support Production team with reviewing test quotes from the test labs
- Managing Purchase Quotes requests and data input into Dynamics to ensure testing quotes are approved, preparing Test Request Forms and sharing with requestors
- Monthly reporting on testing spend
