**Job Title: Yard Operative (Part Time)**

**Location: BCA Enfield**

**Salary: £10.40 an hour (£19,522 Salary)**

**Working Hours: 36 hours per week - Monday, Friday - 06:00-18:00, Saturday - 08:00-17:00 and Sunday - 08:30-14:30**

**Job Status: Permanent**

**Main purpose of the job**:
To assist with the daily operations of a busy auction centre through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard. Due to the size of our Auction Centres our Yard Driving roles may require a lot of walking and being on your feet through out the day in all types of weather conditions.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Moving a high volume of vehicles between the yard.
- Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed, on-site training provided.
- Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager.
- Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence
- Be physically fit as the role involves a lot of walkig
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
- Willingness to help other departments out when needed
