Furniture Removalist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Removalist to join our team.

As a Removalist, you will be responsible for assisting with the relocation of furniture and other items for residential and commercial clients.

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with clients to understand their moving requirements and address any concerns
- Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture and belongings onto trucks
- Secure items properly to prevent damage during transportation
- Drive company vehicles to transport items to the designated location
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the moving process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in removals, a warehouse or delivery driver role is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred but not esential.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans, trucks, or larger vehicles
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively

Note: This is a paid position.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: £10,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 - 45 per week
