Reed are currently working in collaboration with an NHS Trust based in Central London who are seeking a Education Manager to join their team.

The Education Manager is responsible for the effective operational, business and quality assurance of designated workstreams within the Trust's Learning Academy and in its delivery of the Trust’s education and training vision, strategy, and priorities.

**Band 7 - PAYE £20.36 per hour**
**Working hours 37.5 per week, hybrid working (may need to be onsite more in the first few weeks)**
**Duration 3 months**
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders to monitor, evaluate and develop your designated education workstreams, ensuring this is done within the framework of the Educational Contract and relevant regulatory bodies
- Responsible for the day to day operational and business management of designated workstream(s)
- To lead on the annual reporting of educational activity across relevant workstreams
- To contribute to the collation of data for the GLA annual report
- To lead on service development and improvement projects to enhance education opportunities across the Trust
- Delegated budget management from the Senior Education Manager
- Responsible for the business management of internal and external budget streams e.g. workforce development funding, international fellowships or CPD
- To provide high standards of leadership and effective management within designated workstreams
- Manage the Business Support Team in in accordance with HR policies and procedures ensuring there is good practice in; recruitment, appraisal, performance management, sickness/absence, continuous professional development and pastoral care
- To support the Senior Business Support Team in ensuring that work of the department is carried out in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high standard of work

Experience and Skills required -- Educated to degree level and/or equivalent level of experience within area
- Additional training or management experience to Post Graduate Diploma level and/ or equivalent level of experience within area
- Evidence of continued professional and personal development (CPPD)
- Project Management qualification
- Evidence of Leadership / management development
- Experience/Knowledge
- Knowledge of Health Education England (HEE), relevant NHS education policies and issues
- Knowledge of quality assurance and operational performance management, including monitoring activity and delivery and reporting against key performance indicators (KPIs)
