Due to expansion, our client has an exciting opportunity for experienced Floor fitters to join our team.

As a Floor Fitter, you will play a crucial role in delivering satisfactory flooring installations to clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

Our client, first started building trailers back in 1977 from a small warehouse in Mallusk, Newtownabbey - Northern Ireland. Due to the growing demand for its products and services, just some 3 years later they built a 36,000 square foot factory adjoining the original site to allow for increased production. **Hours**
- Monday - Thursday : 6am to 4.30pm
- 4 day working week
- Set Holidays are in place for shut down

**Skill and Requirements**

Must have 2 years’ experience in joinery, carpentry, woodwork, power tools, reading blueprints - engineering drawings.

**Daily Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities: Flooring Installation: Accurately measure, cut, and fit different types of flooring materials for HGV Trailers.

Surface Preparation: Prepare the subfloor or existing surface by cleaning, levelling, and removing any imperfections before installing the new flooring.

Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment required for flooring installation, all power tools such as saws, cutters, adhesives, and seam irons and all other tools required.

Adherence to Standards: Follow industry best practices, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols to ensure installations meet quality standards and regulations.

Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues that may arise during the installation process, such as uneven subfloors, moisture problems, or structural concerns. Material Selection:
Efficiently organize and prioritize tasks to complete projects within the given timeframe while maintaining quality workmanship.

Site Cleanliness: Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy during and after the installation process, disposing of waste materials appropriately. Health and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Floor Fitter or similar role with a record of accomplishment of successful flooring installations.

Skills: Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and fitting different flooring materials. Familiarity with various installation methods and techniques. Knowledge: Understanding of flooring materials, adhesives, subfloor preparation, and related tools and equipment.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy flooring materials and stand for extended periods during installation. Attention to Detail: Meticulous and precise in workmanship to ensure flawless installations.

Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve installation challenges effectively. Communication: Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.

Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment.

Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to meet project deadlines.
