YOUR ROLE

As a Gatehouse Operative situated within the entrance of our Salters Yard site in Wisbech, you will monitor and manage the flow of vehicles and good in and out of the warehouse ensuring all necessary checks are completed in line with policy.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern on either days (06:00am - 18:00pm) or nights (18:00pm - 06:00am) you will take sole responsibility for monitoring all vehicles and visitors that enter and exit the site, keeping on top of required paperwork to maintain full compliance. You will utilise our WMS system SAP to book vehicles into the warehouse, keep all dispatch information up to date, and ensure accurate delivery documentation is provided on outbound delivery.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You must be able to commit to a 4 on 4 off working pattern on either days or nights, and be comfortable with lone working, specifically at times where the site is shut over evenings and weekends.
