**Job title**: Warehouse Operative

**Location**:Cowes, Isle of Wight

**Salary**: £25,440, depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Comply export control guidelines for storing / shipping ITAR products
- Participate in the update of the warehousing infrastructure and processes as required by the business
- Operate warehousing processes including receipt, put-away, kitting, unplanned picks, shelf life process and packing
- Ensure good housekeeping and 5’S are adhered too
- Interface with other teams/organisations to provide a seamless service

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential
- Have good experience in general Warehousing duties
- IT literate
- Previous experience in a warehouse or engineering environment

Desirable
- An understanding of SAP and continuous improvement activities
- Woodworking Skills
- Current Forklift Licence Previous forklift experience - counterbalance, reach truck, multidirectional, side loader

**The Warehouse team**:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will have the opportunity to learn an assortment of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and upskill on the job. A small team of 4 with plenty of opportunity for progression.
