Shunter Driver

3PL Resources is part of Cathay Investments. 3PL resources is looking for a Shunter Driver to be based at it's site in Wellesbourne.

Main purpose of the role is to Support in the movement of vehicles and trailers between Amethyst sites.

**Key Tasks**:

- Move trailers for loading and unloading
- Ensuring yards is kept tidy with the empty trailers/pallets currently not in use.
- Ensure Health and safety rules are adhered to for all vehicle movements
- Keep pallets in yard tidy
- Carry out regular security checks on perimeter fence and vehicles.
- Challenge unidentified people on site offering help and guidance.
- To check vehicles/trailers and report any vehicle/trailers damage immediately
- To support organisation of trailers having their service.

**Key results/objectives**:

- To ensure empty trailers are put onto bays in a timely manner for loading and unloading.
- To support warehouse and transport staff with the loading of deliveries.
- To ensure yard it kept tidy, meeting health and safety requirements.

Responsible for staff/equipment
- Shunting vehicle - notification of any defects
- Supporting with notification of defects on any vehicles and trailers used by individual in the yard
