MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide efficient and effective administrator support to Curriculum Areas and teams.

To provide an information and contact point for students and staff, in person, by telephone,

To provide support to all service and delivery teams on Campus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB HOLDER:
1. To ensure a high standard of customer service to learners, staff and members of the

public.

2. To process information accurately and effectively as directed by the Quality & Curriculum

Admin Manager, Vice Principals, Directors and other curriculum management staff.

3. To undertake general office duties, which will include but not limited to ordering office

stationery, print requests, answering the telephone, taking messages, filing and

organising post, etc.

4. To use the college student systems effectively with MIS support, to track and monitor

learners’ attendance, progress and status.

5. To support curriculum teams in the follow up of student’s absence through telephone and

monitoring activity.

6. To provide administrative support for progress reviews and year end reports.

7. To complete and provide student references as requested.

8. To provide administrative support for the student disciplinary process, including taking

minutes of meetings.

9. To assist in Evacuation and Emergency procedures and processes.

10. To provide support to College Recruitment Events and Open Days at such time as are

required, including the annual main enrolment event in August.

11. To support and assist in the co-ordination of exams including student communications

12. To support and participate in the setting up new process and procedures that improve the

service and administration provided.

13. To use initiative and organise workload to resolve problems and issues as they arise.

14. To carry out any other duties required by the Principal or designated representative or

manager.

General

The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description

for the post. The particular duties and responsibilities attached to posts may vary from time to

time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.

The post holder must comply with and implement relevant health and safety policies and

procedures and risk assessment. Awareness of the College’s Equality and Diversity policy

and targets is a requirement.

The post holder must share the College’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the

welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Bromley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced DBS (required)
