Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Longbridge, Birmingham, in their search for a Chemistry Lecturer on a temporary basis.

This role offers £23 per hour plus statutory holiday pay.

You will be teaching AS and A-Level and the teaching hours are listed below:
Tue 11:15-12:45

Thurs 9:00-10:30, 10:45-12:15 & 12:30-2:00

Fri 9:00-10:30

There are also tutorial times available which fit into the gaps for BTEC and A-level times

**Key responsibilities**:

- Liaise with parents/guardians, schools and other organisations as appropriate.
- Carry out appropriate course administration including lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Comply with the Quality Assurance procedures of the College.
- Maintain appropriate learning resources.
- Participate in college Enrolment, Induction and Open Days and attend meetings, marketing events and other relevant functions as required by the line manager.
- Ensure “In Attendance” time is carried out to meet the needs of the students.
- To carry out student assessments using a range of techniques and tools determined by the College.
- Monitor the academic progress of students on their courses, including tracking skills and arranging additional support where required.
- Have previous teaching experience (this is desirable)
