**Divisional Broking Director - Remote / National - ARDPG835474**

**Salary: circa £55k depending on experience plus car allowance**

Our Specialist Division are looking for a dynamic client centric Divisional Broking Director from the Insurance Industry who has a proven track record in the development and implementation of capacity strategies to achieve accelerated growth. You will needto have a strong understanding and knowledge of Insurance markets and be able to demonstrate the ability to improve business performance and income within a regulated environment.

In line with FCA requirements, you’ll oversee detailed reviews of the company’s products and ensure that they represent fair value and avoid customer detriment, considering the design of the product itself and how it will be distributed to other brokersor policyholders. These rules require significant co-ordination and information-sharing both between brokers, MGAs and insurers, as well as between different teams and departments within each firm.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will come from the Insurance industry and be able to improve business performance and income within a regulated environment. Having strong financial and commercial acumen with an In-depth knowledge of negotiation and complexdeal structures is also essential. Ideally, we are looking for you to have external market presence and reputation, with the ability to influence, innovate and negotiate. This is a divisional role, so you can be based anywhere in the UK and work from homeprovided you are happy to travel weekly across the UK with overnight stays required once or twice a month.

- Truly understand the requirements of our existing customers and clients and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction to expand relationships and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Able to formulate and develop action plans to acquire new capacity streams within the clients and insurance markets
- Build and lead new client relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders, in close collaboration with the Area Directors and strategic partners
- Collaborate with and coordinate around growing the business, improving our processes, rapidly scaling, and activating commercial opportunities.
- Identify and develop strategies to harness opportunities in expanding capacity, resolve any areas of concern and build on prospects.
- Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy
- Provide effective reporting to the Divisional Management Team on prospects, opportunities, growth areas and key markets.
- Effective oversight of Divisional product governance to include monthly reporting both internally to Managing Director and as part of the Governance Committee confirming the current position of all product assessments, developments in progress, MI deliveryand any actions ongoing.
