Regional Fitter

Position: Regional Service Engineer

Location: Swindon, Bristol, Plymouth

**Salary**: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus’

Company Van

Monday - Friday
- (Role entails travel within the region and occasional overnight stays may be necessary)_

Holidays - 25 Days + Bank

**_ Workshop based, but travel is required to cover absences when needed._**

The Role:

- Service and maintain portable chemical toilets, ADA approved wheelchair access units, and mobile eco welfare units in the South West - _Swindon, Bristol, Plymouth._
- Carry out routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
- Travel between regional depots and customer sites to inspect, service, and repair equipment.
- Prioritise service tasks based on urgency and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate service records, documenting inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
- Interact with customers professionally, addressing requests and providing technical assistance as needed.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations during all service activities.
- Participate in training programs and provide feedback for process improvement.
- Stay updated on welfare equipment technology and industry trends to enhance service quality.

What we need from you:

- Proven experience in a fitter role with relevant mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Preferably, a comprehensive understanding of welfare units.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- A customer-centric approach to workload management and a dedication to collaborative teamwork.
- Valid UK driving license is necessary.
