**What we look for in an excellent Supervisor;**

We are looking for a highly motivated professional Reception Supervisor to join our practices. As Supervisor you would be working closely with the Practice Manager based on site in one of our surgeries. You will ensure the smooth and efficient operation and coordination of the reception team, guaranteeing patient satisfaction, ensuring our standards of excellence exceed patient expectations. You will ensure service in the reception is managed with the utmost efficiency and courtesy in a warm and friendly manner. Supervisor will build strong relationships with their reception staff, understanding a brief and executing every detail with continuous quality and a human touch.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Play an integral role in the successful delivery of patient service.
- To train or provide training to the staff so to ensure they operate in accordance with the organisation policies.
- To monitor daily, the standards achieved in your surgery and report to your line managers any areas of concerns.
- To liaise with key people in all necessary areas
- To deal effectively and courteously with patient complaints, and to refer all complaints to the line manager, if necessary.
- To carry out regular checks in line with CQC across the surgery for maintenance, housekeeping and other health and safety issues. Report to the line manager.
- Experience of Emis Web preferably.
- We need someone that knows or can learn the
following
coding, searches, rota management, experience in staff management, docman, referrals, choose and book as well as various software
commonly used in primary care.
- Manage reception desk and waiting areas appropriately.
