Trainee Bookkeeper

Salary: Up to £24,000 per year (pro-rated for 4 days)

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Ensuring that supplier invoices are posted correctly and are authorised in accordance with the company policies.
- Process employee expenses and credit card receipts, ensuring that all documentation is vat compliant
- Assisting with month-end / year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with internal finance related queries
Key skills/attributes required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent people skills - friendly, polite and having a cheerful disposition.
- Familiarity with Xero and Dext would be advantageous.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office savvy.
- Pro-active in approach with a passion to succeed.
- A bookkeeping qualification would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
Hours: Monday through to Thursday: 9 - 5:00, with the potential to go full time in the future.
**Salary**: Up to £24,000 per year (pro-rated for 4 days)
Holiday: 22 days plus public holidays, plus your birthday and your joining anniversary date.
