**About the role**

The Head of Pricing is accountable for the use of strong data analytics to drive desired commercial outcomes. This includes setting the retail price for insurance products to ensure they maximise Atlanta group income and long-term value objectives whilst remaining fair for customers and mitigating operational risks.

**How will you do this?**

You will oversee and champion the use of analytics to drive action to maximise return on investment across Atlanta, in particular - achieve short term volume / income targets and optimise long-term value across multiple product areas and channels by setting commissions, finance schemes, and negotiation strategies to support Atlanta’s revenue and growth targets.

You will develop Atlanta’s pricing strategies, identifying, and sponsoring new innovations to enhance profitability while ensuring its alignment with company strategy, and ensure the business is supported effectively with all applicable functional activities.

Your team will keenly track the commercial performance of the business, providing key insights into performance and work with the Finance team to provide projections of future performance.

You will also develop an excellent team through effective recruitment, training, coaching, and mentoring and groom potential successors for all positions. Setting the highest possible standards of behaviours in managing risks and maintaining a high-performance ethic.

- Dedicated to analytical excellence with a track record of using statistical modelling and optimisation techniques to solve complex business problems
- Ability to combine pricing expertise and commercial acumen to deliver commercially pragmatic outcomes, which optimise the P&L
- Expert communicator at all levels, with ability to influence senior management
- Proven history of delivering transformational change in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic leader that gets the most out of a talented team and is passionate about their development
- Considerable experience of working in the insurance industry
