Are you an experienced SENDCO looking for a new role in Hanwell, Ealing?

Tradewind are currently looking for an experienced SENDCO to join a secondary school based in Hanwell, Ealing immediately. This is a full time, long-term role for the remainder of the academic year. The daily rate is negotiable dependant on experience butwould generally be from £200 to £300.

**As a SENDCO, you would require**:

- Previous SENDCO experience, ideally within a primary school or SEN school.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- SENDCO qualification.
- Right to Work in the UK.

**As a SENCO, some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Putting provision in place to ensure progress of pupils with SEND.
- Working and advising leadership team on developments of SEND policy.
- Ensuring the statutory responsibilities for all students with an EHC.
- Supporting other staff members understand SEN.
- Monitor progress towards targets for pupils with SEN.
- Tracking pupil premium students.

**As a SENDCO, you will also be required to**:

- Liaise with other leaders including phase leaders, curriculum leaders and the Head Teacher & EHT to ensure that good progression and effective learning are in place.
- Organise, and lead, regular year group meetings and organise an annual parent meetings.
- Closely assist the Head Teacher in the management of the school by being a member of the Leadership Team.

This secondary school is based in Hanwell, Ealing and is easily accessible by public transport and has parking on site.

**To join us and be successful in this role you will need to**:

- Have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- SENDCO Qualification.
- Hold previous experience working within SEN.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
