Logyard Operator

**Log Yard Operator**:

- **Based Fort William, PH33 7NJ**:

- **Rotating Shifts (42.5 hours p/w)**:

- **Full Time / Permanent**:
Based at our Fort William sawmill, you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the Log Yard, working within a team and individually.

**_Specifically, some responsibilities of a Log Yard Operator include: _**:

- Movement of logs using 360 material handler and wheeled loader.
- Unloading of log wagons.
- Operation of weighbridge: booking in/out sawn goods, logs and coproducts as well as controlling incoming site traffic movements.

**_About you:_**:
We are looking for a motivated individual who is production focussed and has the ability to meet deadlines. In addition, you will have:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Be flexible and work well as part of a small team.
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Have appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
- Be willing to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
- Full Drivers Licence.

Experience using heavy mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training can be provided.
