Head Concierge

**Purpose of the Role**

Our concierge and reception team are the first point in providing unforgettable experiences to our guests across the 60 acre estate. Working in conjunction with Front of House, Wine Tour Teams, Accommodation and housekeeping, the reception team is an integral part of the business as whole. As our guests’ first point of contact, you will be a pivotal part of their Hencote Vineyard & Estate experience.

Here at Hencote, we strive at providing high end services to our guests. To fulfil this role, the successful individual will be responsible for ensuring any enquiries, requests and questions are answered promptly and professionally.

**The Role**
- Meet and greet guests when arriving to Hencote Vineyard & Estate
- Support operational departments outside of our normal operating times
- Liaise with Department Heads to communicate and deliver new initiatives to customers
- Responsible for liaison with the Events coordinator and Front of House Team for any events
- To be aware of and promote all services offered on the Estate
- To know and understand the current policies and procedures of the Estate
- Provide support to Management as required, in cases of emergency

**Requirements**:

- Have a least 1 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Hospitality
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to adapt and work in a fast paced environment
- Organised, hardworking and detail orientated
- Confidence in working independently at times, with the initiative to problem solve.

Hencote Vineyard & Estate is a family-owned, destination venue located outside of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Since opening in 2018, Hencote has become the most highly decorated English wine producer, winning multiple awards at the International Wine Challenge and Decanter Awards. The 60 acre Estate comprises of the vineyard, winery, The View Restaurant, Luxury Holiday Home and Glamping Village.

**The View Restaurant**

The View restaurant is a breath-taking, open plan restaurant with show kitchen, bar, lounge and outdoor dining space and has 180 degree views overlooking the vineyard, Shrewsbury town and Shropshire countryside. With a vibrant, industrial-chic décor, we serve modern, European cuisine with global influences, from an ever-changing, seasonal menu sourced from local and regional produce. The restaurant also provides a popular destination for exclusive weddings, private and corporate events.
