**Landscape Labourer**
- **Driving licence and own transport is an essential requirement.**_
**Salary**: 11.44 per hour
**Hours**: Monday to Friday (Early starts are expected in this role)
**Location**: Our clients cover the area of Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and Inner London

Overtime available (If working weekend - overtime is paid 11 hours)
**ABOUT US**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assisting with the general upkeep of “Green” areas.
- Cutting and shaping of hedges
- Grass areas to be cut/ trim edges using a strimmer
- Perennial weeding (PA1/PA6 not essential but advantageous)
- Lifting of lower tree canopies
- Shrub bed maintenance removing all weed growth
- A full litter pick and all items collectable by hand and will fit into a black sack will be collected
- Sweeping of kerb lines and hard-standings to remove silt and debris
- Leaf clearance
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Digging trenches, laying irrigation systems, and installing drainage solutions as needed.
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensuring that work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on landscaping equipment and tools.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks in various weather conditions.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's licence (up to 6 points)
**BENEFITS**: CC Cousins provide a competitive salary. Overtime/ weekend work is available (paid 11 hours)
