Warehouse & Customisation Assistant

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The main role of the Warehouse & Customisation Assistant is to assist in the cutting room, customising stoma supplies, to fulfil customer orders in a timely and accurate manner to meet Quality Standards and achieve Service Level Agreement and departmental KPIs.

**KEY ACTIVITIES**

**Product Customisation**
- Customising pouches in accordance with patient requests.
- Customising stoma pouches and supplies using sophisticated machinery and from time-to-time hand customising of stoma pouches.
- Maintain accurate customer records including templates.
- To ensure all cutting quality issues are reported to the Customisation Team Leader or deputy.

**Other Duties**
- Collate stock to orders, pack and prepare for dispatch within the Company guidelines.
- Assist with booking in and placing stock in appropriate stock position.
- Ensure working areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure stock is rotated.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly maintained.
- Assist with perpetual inventory and year-end stock takes.
- Receive incoming goods, check and sign paperwork for group of Companies when required.
- Assist with other duties as and when required.

**Objectives**
- Ensure all orders are customised and packed accurately
- Ensure the working area is always well maintained
- Ensure that all functions meet the Company ISO Quality Standards

**Measure of performance**
- Number of complaints received regarding poor customisation
- Has received full training to perform all above responsibilities

**KEY SKILLS**

**Essential**
- Demonstrates competency in English and Maths.
- Computer experience
- Experience of warehouse environment
- Ability to write clear and concise English.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
- Flexible and proactive

**Desirable**
- Warehouse system experience e.g., SAGE, SAP
- Conscientious and able to act proactively and with limited direct supervision.
- Lives locally

**K**EY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**

**Internal**
- Team of 12 working at the Nottingham Warehouse
- Working closely with other internal departments to ensure a quality service maintained

**External**
- Meeting and communicating with couriers acting on behalf of the business, plus any other visitors to the Nottingham site

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Hours of Work: 42.5 hours per week.
- Rotating shift pattern between:8.30am - 5.30pm and 7.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Additional hours may be required to meet business need.
- Must be able to commute to the Nottingham site.
