**Breakthrough In Education, are recruiting for a role in a unique educational setting in the Lancaster area. This is an opportunity for experienced individuals looking to work in an educational setting.**

Working in a SEND school allows you to expand your knowledge of the educational system whilst working with a variety of young people positively contribute to the school.

Assisting pupils on a daily basis allows you to connect with them on a personal level while motivating them to achieve their educational, emotional and physical goals. SEND schools allow you to work with experienced professionals often shadowing them potentially to a progressive level. The job will involve working 1:1 with pupils as well as working in smaller groups with and outside the classroom environment.

Job description:

- Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Contributing positively to the school environment
- Assisting pupils in achieving their educational goals while ensuring their well-being is prioritized
- Communicating professionally with other staff members in order to facilitate the safeguarding, well-being and progress of the pupils.
- January start - Long Term, Full Time & Part Time
- **£75-85 per day.**:

- Located in the Lancaster area
- Working hours are 8:45 - 15:30 Monday to Friday
- KS1 and KS2 class with various levels.

Person specification:

- **Some experience of working with young people either in a volunteer capacity or work capacity**:

- Able to bring positivity and enthusiasm into a school environment while assisting the learning within the classroom.
- You will need to be a good role model, proactive and empathic individual.
- Be calm and approachable while making good decisions.
- Be an energetic team player able to care for and look after SEN pupils.
- Understand the individuality of every pupil and cater to their needs.
- Proactive about wanting to make a difference in the lives of young people.

**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day
