Legacy Mentor

Our ambition across the Dorset Integrated Care System is to support newly registered or internationally educated clinicians and learners in the early stages of their career and have therefore created a Legacy Mentoring programme. This is a unique opportunity to help individuals thrive within their career.

Working within DCH, DHC, UHD, primary or social care you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team within our integrated services, working collaboratively with our practice educators. You may be required to support practice placements for learners, liaise with other placement support staff ensuring consistency of support across the setting drawing on your coaching skills to help shape our future workforce.

It goes without saying that you'll be an experienced Adult or Mental Health Nurse, Midwife or Allied Health Professional with a passion for your profession, giving clear, confident support, whilst embracing culture and diversity and have the ability to lead others effectively.

In return we offer robust training and provide ongoing support. This is a part-time position (minimum of 15 hours), we would welcome full-time applicants. We embrace flexible working to help promote a healthy work life balance.
