Middleweight Designer

**A Little About Ooni**

We’re very hot. Specifically, 500℃ hot. That’s the perfect temperature to cook world class pizza in 60-seconds, a mark all Ooni ovens can achieve in around 15 minutes. When we launched in 2012, we created a category by offering a small, fast and accessible wood-fired pizza oven that gave ordinary people the critical tool to make great pizza at home.

**A Little About the Job**

We’re looking for an experienced Middleweight Designer to join our growing team of designers and work with our Creative Director to create world-class creative output for the pizza makers of UK and Ireland.

We need you to be highly organised, a problem solver with an ability to deliver multiple briefs on time and on budget. You should have an in-depth knowledge of the design, print and digital processes and have plenty of experience working within an agency or as part of an in-house team.

Expect an exciting and varied role that will see you creating visual assets across multiple media and formats. From product packaging and marketing activity to retail POS displays and social media posts.

**You will**:

- Create multiple and varying graphic design assets adapted to suit web, social, instore, B2B, packaging, print, product and in house projects
- Take briefs from concept through to execution to develop world-class assets for use by the internal team, external suppliers and retailers.
- Mentor junior members of the design team
- Work to develop existing brand guidelines around a growing product list to support consistency
- Making sure Ooni brand values shine through in everything we produce
- To maintain the high visual standard Ooni sets and assist others in maintaining this standard
- Creation of presentation and mock-ups to present ideas/executions for approval
- To bring fresh ideas and approaches by combining cultural awareness with an enquiring mind

**A bit about you**:

- Highly proficient across Adobe Suite packages - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
- Full knowledge of the print process.
- Knowledge in digital design creation including best practices, UX and compelling formats.
- Comfortable communicating with members of the wider team at all levels.
- Be calm under pressure with a can-do attitude
- Experience with food or outdoor brands is a bonus
- You have a genuine and compelling passion for great pizza
