**About the store**

The store is located in the beautiful market town of Tavistock, home of the famous cream tea and is the only town in Devon to hold world heritage status. The store first opened its doors in 2002 and is situated in the prominent position on the main shopping street. There are plenty of green spaces as well as cycling and walking paths. The river Tavy runs through the town providing picturesque walks along its banks and with Dartmoor on its doorstep it’s easy to see why Tavistock is a key part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Tavistock is conveniently located just 15 miles north of Plymouth, making it a perfect commuter town for those working in the city. It sits on the A386, 16 miles south of Okehampton and within easy reach of the A30.

**Requirements of the role**

Alongside being an existing retailer with a strong and proven background within optics, you will also have the drive, passion and willingness to ensure a customer-focused team and role model high standards to continue the success of this store. As the new Retail Partner, you will be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the new team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
