Our well-established, reputable home offers residents modern and comfortable facilities within warm and friendly surroundings, whilst at the same time providing fantastic standards of care supported by the very latest care planning technology. **As an assistant cook at our home, your role may involve**:
Undertaking any necessary training
Supporting the Chef/Cook and the rest of the catering team with providing fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch to our residents
Maintaining a hygienic and compliant working environment
Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious, well-balanced and appetising meals from a clean, safe and hygienic environment
Submitting food orders
Supporting with all the day to day aspects of the catering operation
Compliance with quality and safety standards

What are we looking for?

Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
A passion for producing fresh, home cooked food, from scratch to the highest standards.
Friendly and enthusiastic disposition, ability to integrate well with others.
Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads.
Food Hygiene Level 2, or willing to undertake
