Position: Trainee / Sales Aluminium Estimator

Based: Sales Office, Torquay, Devon

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: Jan 2023

Working Hours: 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (40 Hours) (1 Hour for Lunch)

**Salary**: D.O.E

**General Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for preparing quotations for all Aluminium enquiries received using our estimating software.
- Ensuring all quotation records are maintained and up-to-date.
- Follow-up with quotations with customers to improve sales.
- Maintain customer relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Liaising with other team members and fabricators.
- Ordering aluminium profiles and components through suppliers when required.
- Preparing contract files for new orders.
- Notify customers on order progression.
- Provide support to the office with relevant administration duties.
- Experience within a similar role with PVC, aluminium or steel. (Desirable, Not Essential)
- Experience using V6 estimating software / Window Designer. (Desirable, Not Essential)
- Experience within the window & door industry. (Desirable, Not Essential)
- Understanding relevant building regulations and standards. (Desirable, Not Essential)
- IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office. (Word/Excel/Access/Outlook)
- Punctual / Effective timekeeping and organisational skills.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure.
- Excellent customer service.
- Efficient multitasking and prioritisation of workload.
- Attention to detail.
