As the Site Foreman you will be accountable for the delivery of the construction works on assigned sites to the highest standards with regard to health & safety, quality/workmanship and environmental compliance. The General Foreman would be expected to take a lead role in the management of the site(s) and take accountability for the elements under their control, delegating and supporting as appropriate to successfully deliver across the whole project delivery lifecycle - through both pre-construction activities (site investigations, surveys and enabling works), construction and eventual completion (handover to the client).

**Key accountabilities**:

- Supervision of the civils site works, and co-ordination with the MEICA Site Supervisors as required.
- Responsible for plant forecast / procurement and reconciliation.
- Responsible for deployment of the self-delivery workforce and managing their performance & development. Ensure that timesheets are completed and submitted on time.
- Responsible for management and deployment of plant, including on-hire/off-hire in accordance with procedures. Ensure that all plant on site is utilised efficiently and off-hired promptly when no longer required.
- Responsible for managing the performance and standards attained by subcontractors.
- Responsible for implementation and ongoing monitoring of SHEQ procedures, to meet the standards set-out in the VS Construction Site Standards at all times.
- Responsible for attendance during SHEQ inspections and audits; and closure of any actions arising.
- Provide specific project information which complies with client and internal reporting requirements, or as directed by the Works/Senior Site Agent/Site Agent; eg. plant,

**Skills & experience**:

- To have experience working on civil engineering projects
- To show a can do attitude to drive the team positively
- High standard and knowledge of health and safety
