HealthNet Homecare is looking for a **General Assistant **to join our busy Dispensary team

Our dispensing team are at the heart of our operations, being responsible for dispensing over 1500 prescriptions per day to our patients. In a busy and bustling dispensing team, this is not a customer facing role being based in out Swadlincote Dispensary.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- To follow and promote relevant SOPs and Company policy and procedure to ensure patient safety at all times.
- To accurately and efficiently pack patient orders for dispatch.
- To accurately and efficiently create patient administration kits.
- To accurately check off, book in and put away stock deliveries.
- To support the dispensing and stock teams as may be required from time to time.
- To maintain documentation filing systems within the department.
- To work collaboratively with other members of the dispensing team to ensure efficient and safe running of the dispensary
- To read and comply with all communications from head office and others to ensure necessary actions are undertaken for the pharmacy and customers.
- To maintain good housekeeping.
- To carry out any reasonable request given by appropriate persons.
- To contribute to HealthNet’s commitment to continuous improvement by forwarding your suggestions to appropriate persons.
- To proactively support the HealthNet Operation by helping in other departments which may be busier than your own at a particular time.
- To travel between depots, therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential.

**Corporate Responsibilities**:

**TCF Responsibilities**:

- Identify and address potential TCF issues within area of responsibility
- Identify and (where appropriate) implement improvements within area of responsibility in relation to TCF issues.
