The Head of Operations is integral to the successful delivery of the Institute of Coding (IoC). A key member of the IoC’s management group, you will bring strategic insight, a track record of successful programme delivery and a commitment to collaboration. Working closely with the IoC’s Director, you will:

- Lead the delivery of IoC’s projects and programmes at every stage from design to evaluation.
- Lead a team of experts in finance, operations, data and administration and have overall responsibility for the development of the IoC professional services staff.
- Be responsible for ensuring all activity operates within contract, funding and governance regulations, and that targets are met and successfully evidenced.
- Build on existing networks to advance the work of the IoC, valuing and facilitating knowledge exchange in support of best practice sharing.
- Be both structured and creative in your approach, proactively seeking and implementing solutions to complex and non-standard issues across multiple institutions.
- Uphold a series of key relationships with partners across the consortium, including senior academics, leaders in industry, government agencies and 3rd sector charity partners. The ability to handle those relationships effectively is critical to the role and you will need to successfully engage with staff at all levels within multiple organisations.

This post is offered on a full time, fixed-term basis to the end of July 2025.
