Pastoral Tutor required to join a well resourced school in the Tutorial & Enrichment teams predominantly supporting Turkish students with EAL

- £130 to £150 per day

As a Pastoral Tutor within the school you will work alongside teaching staff to provide pastoral support for Turkish learners. You will focus on helping them access the curriculum and to improve attendance, retention, achievement and encourage positive progressionto enhance the quality of the learners journey.

Pastoral Tutors will deliver a prescribed tutorial curriculum through weekly group tutorial sessions to develop the learners' broader skills and knowledge. You will help contribute to their social and emotional development.

Previous experience in a similar Pastoral Tutor role is preferential but not essential. You will be a good role model able to elicit the best from developing youths in order to give them the qualities they need to flourish in society post school life.

Good communication skills are essential with the ability to understand Turkish.
