**Finance and Administration Assistant**

We are looking for a Finance & Admin Assistant to join our amazing charity which makes a positive impact to the lives of children and young people.

Reporting to the Finance and HR Manager this role will play a key part in supporting the finance function and provide an efficient administration service across the organisation.

**Job Title: Finance & Administration Assistant**

**Hours**:15 hours per week (2 days)

**Salary**: £17,662 - £18,278 (based on full-time equivalent)

**Responsible to**:Finance & HR Manager

**Closing Date**:Friday 27thJanuary 2023(Noon)

**Responsibilities**
- The main focus of this role will be ensuring accounting records are maintained to a high standard, complying with relevant standards and policies.
- Work with the Finance & HR Manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounts processing.
- Accounts payable, receivable and credit control.
- Banking and reconciliations
- Staff expenses.
- Ordering office supplies and updating stock inventories.
- Collecting, analysing and processing data.
- Maintaining supplier and customer relationships and dealing with any queries
- Work with other members of the Senior Management Team to provide general administrative support, including support to manage events, fundraising and recruitment activities.
- Providing cover for other team members as necessary.
- To undertake any other duties or reasonable tasks as directed by the line manager.

**Generic Duties and Responsibilities (All Active Fusion Staff)**
- Comply with organisation policies and procedures and work in accordance with the Staff Code of Conduct.
- Undertake regular and routine continuing professional development (CPD) including attendance and contribution to internal training; to ensure that they develop and recognise their own strengths and areas of expertise and use these to achieve and support others and the aims of Active Fusion.
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety and security, confidentiality and GDPR, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person in accordance with the relevant policy.
- Establish constructive relationships and communicate with others (inside and external to the organisation).
- Contribute positively to the overall aims, objectives and values of Active Fusion.
- Undertake any other reasonable and appropriate duties as directed by senior staff.

**Key Skills & Qualities**
- Effective communication and positive working relations with employees at all levels and with external stakeholders.
- Previous finance experience - 1 year minimum.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Strong IT skills, in particular Excel.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Process driven.
- A hardworking and proactive individual.
- Able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.

**Experience**
- Demonstrable experience in finance and administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and accounting software
- Experience of using CRM’s.
