**Job description.**

We are currently seeking a part-time CDP to join the team at our tasting menu restaurant in Brighton. Dilsk is a fine dining restaurant that opened in April and is headed by Chef Tom Stephens. It has already been recognised by the Michelin Guide, and has received 5 star reviews across the board. The person we are looking for should be someone who has a drive to learn and progress under Stephens, and whom ideally already has some experience in the fine dining world. Having trained under Tom Kerridge and Simon Rogan, and most recently perfected the tasting menu at 64 Degrees in Brighton, this is Tom’s first restaurant and requires a team member that shares his passion and drive in the kitchen. We pride ourselves in delivering an exciting tasting menu, with efficient, knowledgeable, and warm service that is delivered from both the front of house and kitchen.

**The role**:

- In the role of CDP, you will be expected to carry out prep in all departments to a very high level and be an integral part of the team during service.
- Dilsk solely offers 2 tasting menus of high quality, so there are many different skill sets you will be expected to learn.
- We are a very small team, so being a team player is vital at all times and an input into dish development will be expected.
- The role will consist of around 20-30 hours, mostly over Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The rate of pay will be based on the hours worked and will be negotiable depending on experience and the final responsibilities undertaken.

- For this particular role we will require a good level of food knowledge and preferably some experience of fine dining. There is real potential for career growth in this role, and it could be the stepping stone to future career prospects.
