**Export & Logistics Coordinator Salary**:
£32,000 annually, depending on experience

**Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week**
Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4pm
Friday - 8am to 3:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Export & Logistics Coordinator to join a friendly bunch at a well established manufacturing company in the Haslingden area. This role in summary is to provide support for internal and external customers. Coordinate shipments on time by the correct method, whilst notifying other departments of planned bookings to enable efficient planning. Along with liaising with accounts to coordinate pre-payment orders, correct payment terms and bank details.
- You will take ownership of a select number of area’s such as: UK, Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Israel, Ghana, Nigeria, Indonesia, Thailand, Ireland, Sri Lanka.

**Export & Logistics Coordinator Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide quotes for shipments by all shipping methods (Air, Sea - LCL/FCL, Road, Courier), including pre-bookings for despatch.
- Check and identify dangerous goods, taking advantage of special provisions where possible. Process and provide dangerous goods notes for UK and Export orders.
- Provide advice and support for order enquiries whilst processing Sales Orders received. Assisting the UK Sales Team as necessary.
- Adjust plans depending on availability of materials and production capacities.
- Process all documents required for export; Invoice, Packing List, Certificates, Transport Documents.
- To keep maintain complete and precise records both digitally, and physically, there is a lot of administration care within this role.

**Skills and Experience Required by an Export & Logistics Coordinator**:

- Previous experience in a similar Export Shipping Role for Manufacturer
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, with the ability to recommend, select and use these while quoting and covering the costs associated with the incoterm accordingly
- Knowledge of payment terms and ability to liaise with banks accordingly.
- Knowledge of legislation and practices in accordance with various business processes for example Sales VAT, Payment Terms
- Ability to maintain strong positive working relationships with customers and agents.
- Enthusiastic, committed & driven to achieve effective results and reach all targets.
- Multilingual is advantageous.

**Export & Logistics Coordinator Qualifications required**:

- Dangerous Goods Qualification (Air) - IATA/ICAO, CAA approved
- Dangerous Goods Qualification (Sea) - IMDG
- Dangerous Goods Qualification (Road) - ADR
