**About the role**:
As an Account Manager (Retail) within Optimised, you will be a part of the Sales and Account Management team. You will be responsible for providing managing a portfolio of existing client accounts and developing long-term, trusting relationships whilst maximising profitability and growing our sales pipeline and business.

**What you'll actually do**:

- Develop client proposals based on BeMS requirements, from upgrades, maintenance and/or optimisation requirements.
- Learn and sell the wider portfolio of the company’s energy services from consulting through to managed services.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Maximise client retention through negotiating contract renewals.
- Maximise adoption of Optimised services within existing clients through identifying and converting upsell opportunities.
- Build contacts within all areas of the client’s business to ensure cross functional relationships are in place.
- Create, maintain, and deliver account development plans.
- Prepare reports and attend regular onsite client account review meetings.
- Provide client feedback to the delivery teams to ensure continual service improvement and excellence.
- Maintain CRM system and ensure that all client information is up to date
- Mentor new and less experienced team members.
- Keep skills up to date with skills and developments in the role/expertise.
- Convey real passion and belief in the business and support the drive to a net zero world.
- Provide a contribution to continuous collaboration and innovation.
- Support managers in the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace.
- Ensure you act as a role model, work collaboratively, act professionally and enhance positive morale and well-being at internal/external events.

**What you'll need**:

- 5+ years’ experience working in the BeMS industry.
- Experience in any/or Trend, Tridium & Cylon desirable.
- Develop effective customer relationships.
- 2+ years’ Experience as an account manager or customer facing role.
- Strong technical background and understanding of building services and HVAC.
- Proven knowledge of BeMS and Metering solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with professionals across all levels, including senior executives.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- UK drivers’ licence
