- 20 hours per week (5 days a week to include one alternate weekend day)

TYS Retail Ltd is a family run business who trade under the Nisa Group, our customers and staff are at the heart of everything we do.

**We are looking for Till/Shop Assistants for our store in Stamford.**

Our stores are based across Peterborough, with a lively atmosphere and flexible working hours

People are at the heart of what we do. Our aim is to create a happy work environment for our teams which in turn will give our customers an excellent shopping experience.

We are looking for an energetic team player with a good sense of humor. Previous experience within the retail sector is preferred for this role, including providing excellent customer care, till work, cash handling and stocking shelves, although training can be provided.

**The ROLE**:
You will help to manage a small team of staff in the busy till area. General day to day duties to include:

- Reconciling & balancing tills & floats.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.
- Up selling and cross-selling.
- General housekeeping of the till area.
- Stock control.

**The CANDIDATE**:

- Must have experience of retail till systems.
- Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Highly organized, accurate and reliable with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent numerical and organizational skills.
- Team player, enthusiastic and energetic.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (required)
