Plumber/bathroom Fitter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various components and structures. This role requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to work with hand and power tools, and the capability to perform heavy lifting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping
- Cut, shape, and fit materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install components using hand and power tools
- Weld or solder components together as needed
- Perform basic plumbing tasks such as connecting pipes and fittings
- Conduct carpentry work including framing, trimming, and finishing
- Ensure all assembled components meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly techniques
- Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to [insert weight limit])
- Valid commercial driver's license is a plus

**Skills**:

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Ability to plumb pipes and fittings accurately
- Welding skills for joining metal components together
- Carpentry skills for framing, trimming, and finishing work
- Proficient in assembling components according to specifications
- Knowledge of using power tools safely

We offer competitive pay based on experience.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
