We currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join our company and work in the Extrusion team.

**Role**: Assisting the foreperson in all aspects of the safe and efficient running of the production machines and facilities.

**Working Hours**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Duties to include accurately measuring and cutting of products.
- Ensure that with all aspects of Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with in all daily activities.
- Ensure that production is running efficiently throughout the shift and report any issues to supervisors/management.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment to a high standard of housekeeping
- You will be required to stand for long periods with some manual handling duties.
- Performs other duties as required to multi skill.

**Skills/Requirements**:

- Experience of working to an accurate standard and ensure quality standards are continuously met.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a busy team.
- Used to working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Positive work ethic and excellent timekeeping.
- Counterbalance license preferred but not essential.

Pay: £11.65 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
