House Project Facilitator

**Please note that this position is temporary. Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.**
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as a House Project Facilitator within East Dunbartonshire’s house project. The House Projects supports care experienced young people leaving care to create their own homes and live connected and fulfilling lives. Young people will work through the House Project programme which is SQA accredited. Facilitators will be responsible for supporting young people to complete the modules and upload evidence.
The House project is a trauma informed, relationship based approach, to supporting and working with care experienced young people
- supported by monthly consultation with a clinical psychologist. Facilitators are expected to have a flexible, trauma informed approach to working with young people using innovative ways to engage and support dependent on the needs of the young person.
Young people are supported through the delivery of group work and individual work to complete the house project programme. Once a young person moves into their home they continue to be supported by the house project.
The house project is part of East Dunbartonshire’s children and families social work services and as such you will be working closely alongside colleagues from the HSCP as well as third sector.
There are currently two vacancies within the House project 1 full time and 1 part time post; 12 months fixed term. The house project is currently in it’s 3rd year achieving significantly improved outcomes for care experience young people. The funding for this project is currently being reviewed with the hope that these will become permanent posts.
The House Project is currently based at Unit 2 Workspace Kilsyth Road.

In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by HR Services Lead.
Should an employee leave in advance of the payment being deducted, the full amount will be deducted from the employee’s final salary.
