Sports/ Deep Tissue Massage Therapist

A position has become available for an experienced sports massage therapist to work at our Newport based Chiropractic Clinic.

Shifts Required

Tuesday 1.20pm
- 7.10pm, Wednesday 2.30 -7.10pm, Friday either 9-2.40 or 1.20pm-7.10pm

This is a self employed position within a busy medical based chiropractic clinic. We are looking for someone who has experience and knowledge of sports tissue massage and Swedish massage. Level 4 and above qualification required.

We are looking for a minimum of 2 years sports/ deep tissue massage experience, and the ability to work in a professional clinical environment. You will be required to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, some of which have complex medical needs.

We are NOT looking for someone to diagnose or rehab patients as this is covered by the Chiropractors at the clinic. This is a massage therapists position so the sessions are hands on massage appointments. Some patients will have particular injuries they require help with and others are looking for general maintenance. You will be responsible for cleaning down the room between patients and at the end of your shift.

All equipment, PPE, marketing, bookings and admin will be provided and covered by the clinic. You just need to turn up and treat.

We pay £20 per 1 hour session and £15 per 40 minute session. Pay is monthly by BACs.

We currently have 4 massage therapists and 7 Chiropractors working at the clinic. This is a busy position in a large friendly team.
