Part-time Refueller

Aircraft refueler (part time) required at North Weald Airfield.

After training you will be refuelling all sorts of fixed wing and rotary aircraft from G.A. to warbirds, jets and helicopters. You will also be moving aircraft in and out of hangars.

You must feel confident driving our 10 wheel 25 tonne bowsers (training will be given).

Other duties will include assisting in our aircraft maintenance hangar and general maintenance of our site.

Initially, Wednesday and Thursdays and holiday cover, but from mid April this could increase to 4 days+ during the Summer and Autumn months. Must be prepared to work weekends and be 100% reliable.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Taking payment from customers upon uplift
- Moving the bowsers and aircraft safely around the airfield
- Receiving fuel deliveries and transferring stock between bowsers
- Filling the generators with fuel and oil
- Taking fuel dips for stock level
- Doing daily morning site, vehicle and fuel checks
- Filling out fuel sheets and recording every uplift
- General site maintenance including grass cutting, repairs, painting etc.

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
