We’re a community and mental health trust, providing a wide range of services to people of all ages living in Berkshire. And to do this, we employ approximately 4,500 staff who operate from our many sites as well as out in people’s homes and in various community settings.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Responsible for the provision of full Reception, “Front of House” Service to all Clients/Visitors both during and outside of out-patient clinics
- Responsible for ensuring all telephone calls received are dealt with appropriately, taking messages, recording, prioritising, and distributing them as appropriate
- Reporting any incident or situation that gives cause for concern to the Team Leader
- To liaise with a wide range of health professionals including those at a senior level within the Trust, together with a wide range of outside agencies and organisations including General Practitioners etc, using excellent communication skills.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- GCSE or equivalent experience
- Previous experience of working in a medical records department
- Previous admin experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
