Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a **Grounds Maintenance Team Leader **who has a can-do attitude who will join an existing team working across multiple sites in and around the **Bracknell **area.
**Job Purpose**
As a **Grounds Maintenance Team Leader**, you will be responsible for supervising a small team ensuring the maintenance of the grounds at many of our sites in and around the Cardiff area. You will provide support to the line manager in relation to the team’s compliance of company procedures and policies as well as ensuring that the requirements of the client and the specification are fully met for the enjoyment, recreation and safety of the sites, employees and visitors. You will be working ‘hands-on’ with a small team of gardeners to provide a top-class horticultural environment for our clients.
**Skills and experiences**:
- Ability to work as part of a team or on their own
- Full driving licence with Towing is essential
- Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.
- NVQ or Diploma Level 2 Horticulture / Landscaping (or equivalent)
- Spraying Certificates - NPTC PA1 & PA6
- Team management experience
- Experience in Landscaping / Grounds Maintenance
- Ability to implement Health & Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices to enable smooth running of works on site
- Knowledge of heavy-duty gardening equipment
- Experience with **ride on** grass-cutting equipment and **tractor **driving is preferable but not essential
